Israeli police reported on Monday a suspected car-ramming attack in the central city of Raanana near Tel Aviv, killing one woman and injuring at least 13 people. However, authorities emphasized that they cannot definitively classify the incident as a terrorist attack.

In Raanana on Monday, a man injured at least 13 people, including one critically, in a stabbing and car-ramming attack, according to Reuters.

"A wounded woman who arrived in a critical condition after having been hit by a vehicle has died of her injuries despite our efforts to save her," said a statement from Meir Hospital, near Raanana where the incident took place.

Israeli media reported the incident and advised residents to avoid the streets.

The Israeli police arrested two Palestinians over the reported attack, adding that one of the suspects had stolen the vehicle before carrying out the attack.

This incident occurred amid heightened security tensions due to Israel's conflict with Palestinian Hamas militants in Gaza.

Eli Levy, a police spokesperson, stated, "We still cannot definitively declare this as a terrorist attack."
