- Bou Saab Met Hochstein in Rome
Deputy Speaker Elias Bou Saab met with US envoy Amos Hochstein on Monday in Rome before his expected visit to Beirut on Thursday, according to local TV station MTV.
Amos Hochstein is coming to Beirut to reportedly convey a message from Israel, which mainly consists of a request for a ceasefire in South Lebanon, as well as a request for immediate talks to solve the 13 points of contention around the Blue Line and the issue of Israeli infringement on the outskirts of al-Mari, better known as Ghajar.
