Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told a war council meeting on Sunday that the current war will not end until all the objectives have been achieved, as reported by the Israeli media Haaretz.

These objectives include the elimination of Hamas, the return of all Israeli hostages and a guarantee that Gaza will no longer represent a threat to Israel.

Netanyahu addressed this message to Israel's enemies and friends alike.

Referring to the fighting in the north of the country, Netanyahu advised Hezbollah to learn the lessons of Hamas, stressing that "no terrorist is safe." He underlined Israel's determination to protect its citizens and ensure the safe return of northerners to their homes.

Netanyahu specified that the pursuit of this national objective would be done in a responsible manner, giving priority to diplomatic solutions, but not excluding the use of other means if necessary.

Benny Gantz, a member of the Israeli War Council, added that all members of the Council agreed on the need to eliminate the threat in the north, according to Saudi media outlet Al Hadath. Stating that he prefers a diplomatic solution, Gantz warned that he would consider eliminating the Hezbollah threat in the region if this failed.

Gantz also highlighted Hezbollah's escalation on the northern front, saying that the inability of the region's inhabitants to return to their homes required an urgent solution. He added that the situation calls for a determined approach to guarantee the security of citizens and stability in the region.
