Southern Front: Three Killed by an Israeli Raid in Markaba
A highly tense atmosphere continued to prevail in southern Lebanon on Wednesday afternoon following the assassination of Saleh al-Arouri, the second-in-command of Hamas' political wing in Lebanon.

Three people were killed in an air raid that targeted a house in Markaba. Drone raids also targeted the al-Rajm neighborhood of Aita al-Shaab. Several raids were recorded on al-Raheb Hill, and the forests located between Rmeish and Aita al-Shaab were targeted.

Israeli artillery shelling also targeted the outskirts of Naqoura and Aita al-Shaab. Meanwhile, hostile bombing was renewed in the Labbouneh area.

Hezbollah has also stated that the party targeted the Zar'it barracks and the Jal al-Alam site with appropriate weapons. At approximately 2:30 PM, an Israeli drone launched an air attack, targeting a house in Aita al-Shaab and firing three missiles at it, but no casualties were reported. Hezbollah also mentioned in a statement having directly hit a gathering of Israeli soldiers around the Ruwaysat al-Alam site and near the Malkiya site with a Burkan missile.
