A new sporting achievement for the Lebanese was accomplished by the young player Yasmin al-Husseini (8 years old), who resides in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and won the third position in her age group during the US Kids Golf Championship. The tournament took place on the golf courses of Dubai with the participation of 120 players representing 17 countries from around the world.

Husseini is part of the group of players from Lebanese communities scattered in Arab and foreign countries who participate in Lebanese national teams in international competitions. The most recent of these was the Arab Ladies and Junior Championship in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where Lebanon also won the bronze medal for teams thanks to players Vanessa Rishani, Maria Shaoueesh and Sarah Assaf.

The President of the Lebanese Golf Federation, Karim Slim Salam, extended congratulations and best wishes to Husseini for this outstanding result, which raises the name of Lebanon high among world states, including the most prestigious countries in the field of golf. He also thanked her family for their interest and for supporting and encouraging their daughter, expressing that such care complements the attention provided by the Lebanese Golf Federation through its plan to discover talents worldwide, involve them in national teams and provide all available logistical and technical resources.

It is worth noting that US Kids Golf is an organization that organizes tournaments for different age groups in many countries, aiming to make sports more accessible and enjoyable for young players and help them develop their skills in the sports field.
