Hundreds of people demonstrated in several parts of Israel on Saturday evening to demand the release of the hostages and the impeachment of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
The main rallies took place in Tel Aviv, but also in other places such as Caesarea, as reported by the Israeli media Haaretz.
Following one of these rallies in Tel Aviv, hundreds of participants began marching towards the Kyria military base, which houses the headquarters of the Israeli army.
Members of the hostages' families have stated that they will block this until the war cabinet presents a new plan to free the hostages.
"All we get again and again are dead hostages. Our demand is not a fight, it's a request that anyone would have made if it were their father. Take us into consideration and propose a negotiation plan now", said to AFP Noam Perry, the daughter of an Israeli hostage in Gaza, at one of the rallies in Tel Aviv.
