Touch's Staff Sit-in
The employees of the telephone operator Touch have organized a sit-in in front of the company’s building in Bachoura.

The initiative was the result of a call by the syndicate of Alfa and Touch employees to protest against “arbitrary decisions” taken by the President of the Board of Directors at Touch.

The president of the syndicate, Nabil Youssef, as well as a delegation from that syndicate and several Alfa employees, have taken part in the protest.

In his speech, Youssef stated that he supports the implementation of laws but that he condemns “all threats made against the staff at Touch, in addition to the arbitrary decisions that put their means of subsistence at risk.”

As for the syndicate, it has confirmed that employees’ rights are a red line and that it will soon hold a press conference to shed light on all the abuse
