Israeli warplanes conducted several air raids early Thursday afternoon hitting Hezbollah targets in Beirut’s southern suburb and villages in Mount Lebanon.

A strike on the village of Kayfoun in the area of Aley in Mount Lebanon targeted the transmission tower for Hezbollah’s Al Manar TV.

In Upper Kesrouan, Maayrsra, s Shite village, was hit for the second time in a couple of weeks.

The raids on Hezbollah’s stronghold in the southern suburb were directed against the party’s Media Relations Office near the Pearl Beirut Hotel on Mouawad Street.

According to local media reports the targeted building on Mouawad street collapsed.
