The Israeli media Haaretz reported that Israel hacked the control system in Beirut airport and warned an Iranian passenger plane not to land there.

Moreover, Caretaker Minister of Public Works and Transport Ali Hamieh instructed Beirut-Rafic Hariri International Airport on Saturday to request the Iranian plane, which was headed to the airport, not to land and not to enter Lebanese airspace.

On Friday, the Israeli Army spokesman Daniel Hagari said Israeli jets are patrolling the airspace near Beirut International Airport and will not allow “hostile flights with weapons” to land there. “It is a civilian airport for civilian purposes and it needs to stay that way,” he said.
