Four people were also killed in a raid on the village of Khodr (Baalbeck caza).

In addition, the regions of Bhamdoun and Sawfar were targeted by Israeli strikes on Saturday morning — a first for the Aley region.

Injuries were also reported following a strike on a house in Douris, Beqaa, and another in Adloun (Saida caza).

The Mokhtar of Kfardebian (district of Keserwan), Wassim Mhanna, denied reports that the Faqra region had been targeted by a strike on Saturday morning. He explained that a small metal object had fallen during the passage of an Israeli plane and hit the mountain between Faqra and Kfardebian.

In southern Lebanon, dozens of villages were targeted by Israeli bombardments on Friday night.

Three rescue workers from the Islamic Mission were killed in Babiliyeh and Yohmor.

Israeli warplanes attacked a residential building in Kfarhatta, while injuries to the Islamic Health Commission were reported in an air strike targeting its operations center in Taybeh-Deir Syriane.

Eight people were also killed in an Israeli airstrike that targeted a house in the village of Baadaran, in the Druze heartland of the Chouf, late Friday night.

This is the first time that raids have targeted a locality in the Chouf region since the escalation between Hezbollah and Israel began last week.

Beirut’s southern suburb was the target of a spate of strikes overnight. On Saturday morning, it was shrouded in a thick gray cloud.

For its part, Hezbollah has not ceased to claim responsibility for strikes against northern Israel, namely the settlement of Kabri and the Ramat David airbase and airport, using Fadi 1 and 3 missiles.

On the Israeli side, Channel 12 reported that 16 rockets were fired from Lebanon into the Galilee in the latest batch of rockets.

A rocket fired from Lebanon was reported to have hit Netzeret Illit in the town of Acre.

Sirens sounded again in Acre and dozens of surrounding localities, following rocket fire.
