The Deputy Secretary-General of Hezbollah, Naim Kassem, declared that the party has entered a new phase in its struggle against Israel, describing it as an “open and decisive battle.”

He warned, “We will retaliate at the right time and place, when the Israelis least expect it.” Kassem made these remarks on Sunday afternoon during the funeral of Hezbollah’s al-Radwan force commander, Ibrahim Aqil, who was killed on Friday in an Israeli strike on Beirut’s southern suburbs, resulting in 50 victims, according to the latest count.

Kassem also condemned Israel for committing “three painful war crimes, an extreme display of brutality.”

In his closing remarks, the Deputy Secretary-General emphasized that Hezbollah is not deterred or intimidated by threats and is prepared to face all upcoming military challenges, even the most dangerous scenarios.
