Early on Monday morning, the Israeli army fired a ground-to-ground missile and mortar shells at the southern Lebanese town of Kfar Kila, while shelling targeted Kfar Hamam and Kfarchouba.

This comes after a tense night during which an Israeli strike on Hanine, on Sunday night, injured four people, according to the latest information from the Lebanese Ministry of Health.

A night raid also targeted a house in the town of Taybeh. No casualties were reported.

Meanwhile, Hezbollah announced that it had targeted the Israeli site of Ma’ayan Baruch on Monday morning, “hitting it directly.”

On the Israeli side, the Upper Galilee Regional Council reported that alarm sirens were heard on Monday morning following the launch of two rockets identified as coming from Lebanon. According to Israeli media, “one of the rockets was intercepted, and the other exploded in an open agricultural field, causing no injuries.” Media reported that incessant drone and rocket alert sirens sounded in northern Israel, and residents reported damage to a building in Nahariya. At the same time, alarms were activated in the communities of Sa’ar, Shlomi and Shavei Tzion. Explosions were also heard in Beit Hillel.
