Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Kyiv was hailed as “historic” by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, coming just over a month after Modi’s controversial hug with Russian President Vladimir Putin. During his visit, Modi reaffirmed support for a peaceful resolution to the Ukraine conflict and witnessed the signing of four new agreements covering various sectors.
