The Israeli army carried out a night raid on Nabatiye, targeting a building in the Mchah district of the town, located far from the southern border.

This was the third attack on Nabatiye since hostilities with Hezbollah began on October 8, 2023. The last raid, carried out in February 2024, targeted a Hezbollah military chief, Ali Mohammad Debs, who was killed along with six other people.

Tensions increased on the southern front on Wednesday afternoon, as an Israeli drone hit the power line supplying a pumping station on the Litani River, in the town of Taybeh, just after the electricity company had repaired it.

Israeli warplanes shelled the villages of Aita al-Shaab and houses in Kfarchouba, causing a major fire in the area. The suburbs of Yater, Zebqine and Chihine were also targets for Israeli artillery.

Moreover, the outskirts of Rachaya al-Foukhar, Kfar Hammam, Hora, Deir Mimas, Bourj al-Malouk, the hill of al-Ezziyeh, and the plain of Marjayoun were also targeted by Israeli artillery, while Hezbollah announced that it had bombarded several Israeli positions, notably in Kfarchouba.
