The head of Hezbollah’s ‘Loyalty to the Resistance’ Bloc, MP Mohammad Raad, declared on Tuesday that his Iran-backed party has not unveiled all of its weaponry and that “reserves for (a potential) open warfare are still in store.”

During a memorial ceremony held in the southern town of Kfar Melki, Raad said that Hezbollah is still adhering to the so-called “rules of engagement” with Israel, “although the Israelis are attempting to evade them.”

“Hezbollah is resolute in facing Israel, and if the latter attempts to circumvent the rules of engagement, it will face a catastrophe,” the MP added.

Raad’s comments are hot on the heels of US Envoy Amos Hochstein’s visit to Lebanon, during which he stressed that “diplomacy is the only way for a solution” in southern Lebanon and that “escalation benefits no party as, even when limited, war cannot be controlled.”
