The Media Department of the Lebanese Forces Party released a statement strongly condemning the “Israeli targeting of a group of journalists in Alma el-Chaab in the South.”
“We regret that bearing witness to the truth continues to exact a toll on the journalistic community,” the statement declares, “We extend our deepest condolences to the family of the martyr Issam Abdullah. We wish a speedy recovery to the wounded journalists and emphasize the necessity of keeping the journalistic community free from any targeting, allowing them the space to fulfill their professional duties.”
