The Lebanese Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement on Sunday evening: “On July 30, 2023, as a result of clashes inside the Ain al-Hilweh refugee camp in Saida, a shell hit one of the military centers, and military observation points affiliated with the army came under gunfire, resulting in injuries to a number of soldiers. The Army Command warns against jeopardizing military centers and their personnel, regardless of the reasons, and affirms that the army will respond to the sources of fire in kind.”
