On Sunday, the city of Hermel and its surroundings witnessed a series of airstrikes.

Baalbeck and the villages in its district were also subjected to violent airstrikes starting at 5:00 AM, targeting factories, warehouses, shops, farms and populated areas. The final strike took place on Kayal Road shortly after 7:00 AM.

Additionally, Israeli warplanes shelled Hermel and its surroundings. The following towns were also targeted: Shaat, Sarin, Ain al-Sawda, al-Na’niya, Younin, Taria, Buday and many villages in northern Bekaa.

In another attack, Israeli warplanes launched an airstrike on a Civil Defense center affiliated with the Islamic Scout Association in the town of Tyr Debba, killing four of its members and wounding several others.

The bombing also extended to the areas of Ansariya, Aita al-Shaab, al-Mahmoudiya, al-Aishiya, al-Baysariyah, the hills and heights of Iqlim al-Tuffah, along with Arbsalim, Bayt Lif, al-Qantara, Alman, Beit Yahoun, Markaba, al-Khuraib, al-Zarariya and Bint Jbeil. Tragically, two civilians were killed in these strikes: a child named Mohammad Saad and Hussein Mohammad Tarhini from Abba.

Drones continuously hovered over the region throughout the previous night.

On Saturday night, Israel launched additional airstrikes on Anqoun, killing three Hezbollah members: Mustafa Atmeh, Bassam Aboud and Mohammad Jammoul, who were later mourned by the Amal Movement. These airstrikes were concentrated on Kasar Za’tar in Nabatieh, Zibdin al-Sharqiya, Jibshit, Kafr Shuba, al-Mansouri, Bayt Lif, Sirbine, Kfar Kila, Kfarhatta, Ain Qana, Kfarmaliki, al-Saksakiyah, al-Lubiya, Balat, al-Ghaziyah, Khiam and Debeen, accompanied by intense drone activity over Iqlim al-Tuffah and Nabatieh.

Israeli warplanes also targeted a center of the Islamic Health Authority in Houmin al-Fawqa, causing multiple fatalities. Jibshit was bombed as well, where three individuals were killed. Other affected towns include Zawtar al-Sharqiya, Kfar Jiziz, al-Duwair, Yahmour al-Shaqif and Arnoun.

Late at night, Israeli planes targeted a house in Jibshit, resulting in injuries. Six bodies were recovered from a house hit by an airstrike in al-Ain in northern Bekaa, with ongoing rescue efforts to retrieve five more bodies. The Lailaki-Tehwita al-Ghadir area in Beirut’s southern suburbs was also shelled, as well as the town of Mansouri in the Tyre district.

The Public Health Ministry’s Emergency Operations Center issued a statement announcing that the death toll on Saturday rose to 33, and 195 injured.
